SWIMMING ABOVE FUJIYAMA
Opus n°1 d’une série limitée à 8 pièces.
L’œuvre « Swimming above Fujiyama » de l’artiste Enki Bilal restituée à l’identique sur un tapis est un support sur lequel Stéphane Plassier a imaginé un travail de broderies, d’ennoblissement, de métallisation à chaud, repris à̀ la peinture et signé par Enki Bilal.
Cette œuvre issue de cette nouvelle collaboration entre les deux artistes a été présentée à la biennale de Venise 2019 sous les auspices d’Artcurial.
First opus of a limited series of eight items.
The artist Enki Bilal’s work “Swimming above Fujiyama” identically reproduced on a carpet is a medium on which Stephane Plassier imagined a work of embroidery, finishing and thermal spraying, painted and signed by Enki Bilal.
This work of art birthed from this collaboration between the two artists was presented at the Venice Biennale in 2019 under the auspices of Artcurial.
